Our events are led by presenters who are social workers, mental health practitioners, leaders and experts in the field who share their knowledge of key elements of mental health prevention and intervention, their perspectives on working with specific groups based on their lived experience and strategies for care and practice.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an OASW account to enrol in the OLC Academy?

You do not need to sign in to an account to browse our events, or to enrol in Live Events. 

Whether you are an OASW member or a non-member, you must sign in to an OASW account to enrol in our OLC Academy (Online Training and On-Demands). 


If I create an OASW account, am I now an OASW member?

All OASW members automatically have an OASW account and do not need to create one. Just sign in with your existing OASW member credentials!

Non-members do not automatically have an OASW account but can create one. Creating an account is FREE and does not equate to an OASW membership.

Do OASW members get discounted prices?

Yes! Many of our offerings have different member and non-member rates. Once you are signed in to your OASW account and enrol to an event, it will automatically take you to the correct payment page based on your membership status.

How do I navigate the website and enrol in OLC offerings?

What accessibility features and French language supports do you have?                                                  

OLC Micro Courses include custom captions for instructor-led videos. 
Many OLC Webinars feature American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation. 
OLC Live Events feature custom captioning. Whenever possible, slides, tools, and additional resources are also included.
